Market context

Texas medical physicist roles are selective

In Texas, medical physicist openings are typically driven by hospital, cancer center, and imaging program staffing needs, with licensure and board eligibility often used to narrow the field. These roles are competitive because employers usually prefer CAMPEP-approved residency training and candidates who can support clinical quality, safety, and compliance. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to quickly confirm your degree, ABR status, and Texas licensure fit before applying.
