Effectively delivers peri-operative care to the surgical patient through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
Position Qualifications Education: Experience/Specialized Skills/Aptitudes: Past peri-operative experience is preferred.
Nurses who do not meet this requirement must complete a surgical competency-based orientation program successfully.
Licenses/Certificates: Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
Current BLS or completed prior to end of orientation period Current ACLS/ALS or completed within 6 months of hire For nurses hired specifically for PACU, current PALS or completed within 6 months of hire
