MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of MRI PREFERRED EDUCATION: Associate degree in Allied Health or Bachelor’s Degree and certification in another clinical imaging field MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 6 months in Magnetic Resonance Imaging with supervised clinical experience.Possesses working knowledge of cross section anatomy and MR pathology. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 2-5 years in MRI REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiology or (ARMRIT) registry eligible according to ACR guidelines. Must be registered as a MR Technologist within one year post graduation of accredited school. If Registered with ARRT in ionizing radiation, must possess current Texas Medical Board (TMB) license. PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: ARRT in MRI REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire. #LI-RR1
