Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of full-time experience in personal or direct client care. Applicants must also possess a sympathetic attitude toward elderly care and the ability to pass a criminal history check.
Position: Cna, pss, hha, pca, dsw, and caregivers
We seek highly compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our growing family. You must be ready to provide in-home care to our clients respectfully and compassionately, while being respected and valued in return.
Work Location: Multiple Locations (York & Cumberland County)
Aging Kingdom caregivers provide service to individuals in their own homes and communities who need assistance caring for themselves as a result of old age, sickness, disability, and/or other inflictions. Personal Care may include assistance with the activities of daily living, housecleaning, laundry, meal preparation, transportation, companionship, and respite.
Responsible for ensuring service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant Agency policies and industry standards.
High School Diploma or GED required
One year of full-time experience in personal care or an institutional setting, such as a hospital or nursing home, or one year of full-time experience within the last five years in direct client care in a home care agency setting; or
Evidence of a sympathetic attitude toward elderly care
Demonstrated ability to read, write, and carry out directions.
Evidence of maturity and ability to deal effectively with job demands.
Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
Participate in professional meetings when directed.
Ability to work closely supervised to ensure competence in providing client care.
Must have a criminal history check conducted prior to being offered a position with the agency
Perform tasks involving activity, which may include heavy lifting and extensive bending and standing.
Deal effectively with stress.
Work assigned hours per week.
Bend and stand an average of six (6) hours per day.
Lift up to 50+ pounds.
Work in a stressful environment.
Drive up to 50+ miles per day.
