The surgical technologist provides technical interventions in the operating room under the supervision of an RN. They are responsible for managing surgical instrumentation, equipment, prostheses, and supplies.
Essentia Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to serve in the operating room at St. Mary's Medical Center, located in Duluth, Minnesota. This surgical technologist works 36 hours weekly. Shifts are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, 10:00 am to 6:30 pm, and 11:00 pm to 7:30 am. One weekend and four night shifts are required on a four-week rotating schedule. A holiday rotation is also required. Education Qualifications: Graduate of accredited Surgical Technologist program. They are also responsible for tasks relating to instrumentation, equipment, prosthesis, and supplies. May perform other duties as assigned by the department.
