The Direct Support Professional provides supervision and support to individuals with disabilities in a crisis residential setting. Responsibilities include assisting with daily routines, administering medications, documenting services, and facilitating community engagement.

This is a crisis group home which is a short‑term, highly supportive residential setting designed for children, teens, or adults who are experiencing an emotional, behavioral, or other crisis. The goal is stabilization — not long‑term placement — so the person can return home or move to a more appropriate setting once the individual has stabilized and a plan is in place. The individuals we support in this setting are often highly behavioral, may be violent at times, display verbal aggression, and may elope. It is imperative that employees following our training, policies, and care plans to support individuals with these unique needs.
