THERAPIST (MA/MSW)-PRN- Military Program

Responsibilities

• We are currently looking for a Master level Therapist to join our team.
• We have Full time and PRN positions available.
• The candidate selected will be responsible for the following: Responsible for conducting therapeutic services for patients.
• Provide counseling sessions for families, individuals and groups.
• Responsible for interviewing and developing the psychosocial history, assessing the therapeutic needs of the individual and family, developing appropriate treatment objectives and monthly treatment summaries.
• Act as the patients’ and families’ primary contact during the patient’s stay at the facility, as well as their advocate with the treatment team.
• Liaisons with outside agencies and individuals for the purpose of developing and coordinating discharge planning with the treatment team and family.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling, or other related fields.
• One (1) year direct clinical experience specific to family, individual and group therapy preferred.
• Must be able to communicate with members of the multidisciplinary treatment team, managed care representatives, adults and patient families in a clear and concise manner.
