Family Service League is seeking a per-diem Nurse Practitioner for our DASH Program in Hauppauge. The Nurse Practitioner will provide psychiatric assessments, health monitoring, and medication management in an outpatient, 24 hour per day, 7 day per week crisis stabilization program. The Nurse Practitioner will report to the Director of Clinical Crisis and Stabilization Services.
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Licensure (including DEA credentials) required.
Waiver to prescribe Medication Assisted Treatment required.
At least 1 year of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting required.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, required. Electronic Health Record experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team required.
Valid and clean NYS Driver’s License required.
General computing and keyboarding skills.
Ability to administer IM injections.
Ability to take patient vitals.
