The MRI Technologist will perform accurate MRI imaging protocols while adhering to strict safety standards and professional guidelines. They are responsible for equipment setup, troubleshooting, and managing patient workflow using EPIC and PACS systems.
The candidate selected for this position will promote a culture of healing, while accurately interpreting and performing all MRI imaging protocols The candidate will practice in accordance with state, federal and professional standards Must demonstrate knowledge of MR imaging equipment; including set-up, utilization, basic troubleshooting and proper care for all equipment Will abide by strict MR Safety standards and evaluate MR scans for technical quality EPIC and PACS will be used to manage patient workflow and transmit images for interpretation Must be competent with IV skills and preparing/administering contrast media
Minimum Education: Completion of a 24-month AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology required License/Certifications: ARRT Certified BLS/CPR certification IV Certification preferred Relevant Experience: 2 years MRI Experience, Siemens preferred
