Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assists the doctor in procedures Takes x-rays Takes IO's Assist in Prophylaxis cleaning of teeth Instructs patients on oral hygiene Charts cavities and teeth with doctor Sterilizes instruments Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygiene Charting of patient's treatment and treatment plan with doctor

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred BIlingual in Spanish, preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: California Registered Dental Assistant License X-Ray Certification Coronal Polish Certification Current BLS certification Sealant Certification, preferred

Requirements

Candidates must hold a California Registered Dental Assistant License, X-Ray Certification, and BLS certification. A Coronal Polish Certification is required, and previous dental experience or relevant education is preferred.
