Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have: Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to cleanliness, organization, and accuracy Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team Dependability, accountability, and a strong work ethic Adaptability and willingness to learn in an evolving hospital setting Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the duration of a shift Knowledge of surgical instrumentation, sterile processing, and sterilization procedures preferred CRCST and/or CBSPD certification preferred but not required Prior veterinary specialty, surgical, sterile processing, or hospital support experience preferred but not required Commitment to supporting a culture of compassion, teamwork, continuous learning, and exceptional patient care Fluent English speaking and reading skills required About Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital At Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital, we’re more than a 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital—we’re a collaborative team committed to exceptional patient care, outstanding client service, and continued professional growth.
