Our openings include a position working closely with Dr.
Audra Long at our Gammon Clinic or a travel position that will support Dr.
David Allen with a rotating schedule between our Fitchburg and Gammon locations.
These are 4-day a week ortho assistant positions, offering a consistent weekly day off and a predictable schedule you can count on.

Key Responsibilities Assist orthodontists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and efficiency.
Prepare, sterilize, and maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment.
Take dental x-rays and impressions, following all safety protocols.
Educate patients on orthodontic care, including the use of retainers and proper oral hygiene techniques.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.
Foster a positive experience for patients through excellent care and communication.
Skills & Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to excellent patient care.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Experience Previous orthodontic or general assistant experience .
Familiarity with orthodontic procedures, terminology, and equipment is preferred.
Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a dental assistant program is preferred but not mandatory.
Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus.
