In addition to the sign-on bonus, this position is eligible for a relocation bonus if current residency is outside of the designated distance to facility.   • Work: The ED Observation Unit at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is hybrid unit for our Level I adult and pediatric trauma center that provides emergency healthcare for all types of injuries and illnesses, from life-threatening conditions such as heart attacks or strokes to flu and viral illnesses. The unit consists of 20-24 beds. Our team consists of more than 30 board-certified emergency physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, experienced emergency nurses, sexual assault nurse examiners, forensic nurse examiners, social workers, case managers and other specially trained staff. The Emergency Department at Atrium Health Wake Forest Medical Center is not only one of the first Emergency Medicine training programs in the country but continues to create the future of emergency care through patient care research and resident education.

  • For: Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association ACLS are required within 6 months of hire 2 years of

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited nursing program and a valid Registered Nurse license are required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, with ACLS certification needed within 6 months of hire.
