About the role

The Restorative Aide works under the Restorative Nurse Coordinator to provide direct restorative care and delegated therapy tasks to residents. The goal is to help residents gain or maintain their highest possible functional level according to individualized care plans.

About the Role

Under the supervision of the Restorative Nurse Coordinator, the Restorative Aide, is responsible to work with residents requiring restorative nursing measures to gain or maintain their highest possible practical functional level, by providing direct restorative care and delegated formalized therapy tasks, such as assigned, in accordance with a specific plan of care devised for each individualized resident receiving restorative care.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Certified Geriatric Aide by the State of Montana. Current Basic Life Support (BLS). Clinical CNA experience, with a minimum of two (2) years with consistent good evaluations on job performance. Knowledge and skills in restorative nursing principals and practice – has training in techniques and practices of restorative nursing. Ability to interpret and apply verbal and written instructions. Provide a current phone number.

Starting pay range varies based on experience up to 10 years.

Requirements

Candidates must be a Certified Geriatric Aide in Montana and hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. A minimum of two years of clinical CNA experience with consistent performance evaluations is required.
