About the role

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic MR studies while ensuring patient safety and effective communication with radiologists. Additional duties include training new staff, managing supplies, and maintaining the cleanliness of the imaging unit.

We are currently hiring for an MRI Technologist at our Chapel HIll, NC facility. This will be a full time position.

We are currently hiring for an MRI Technologist at our Chapel Hill, NC facility. This will be a full time position.

Regional resource responsible for patient safety and the performance of high quality MR studies. Insures effective communication with customers, including radiologists as necessary. In some instances, trains new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to

  • Responsible for Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications, aseptic injection technique, etc.
  • Produces high quality diagnostic images.
  • Orders supplies, cleans unit, assist in preparing for transport on a daily basis.
  • Effectively communicates with customers and/or radiologists.
  • Trains new technologist and/or PC's

Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
  • Registered Technologists by the ARRT, NMTCB or ARDMS
  • State License Licensed Radiologic Technologist or Magnetic Resonance Technologist, if applicable.
  • Technologists performing mid-day moves
  • State license, as required.
  • CPR certification.
  • Active state driver’s license.

Preferred Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Registry in Magnetic Resonance by the ARRT.
