We are seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapist to deliver exceptional, evidence-based physical therapy services in an acute care hospital setting at Moore Regional Hospital.

Responsibilities

Physical Therapist Job Summary Evaluates patients, plans treatment programs, and performs physical therapy procedures to restore function, prevent disability, reduce pain, maximize potential and quality of life following disease, injury or surgery.
The Physical Therapist will assess, identify, and treat all areas of deficits impacting posture, locomotion, strength, endurance, balance, coordination, joint mobility, flexibility, pain, and functional abilities.
Demonstrates and articulates sound clinical reasoning in synthesizing complex evaluation data and developing a comprehensive plan of care.
Develops and updates appropriate plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family/medical provider and related to the person's age and lifestyle with measurable goals and a defined discharge plan.
Selects and administers appropriate assessment and treatment techniques.
Follows intervention protocols and revises interventions appropriately.
Interventions are outcomes focused and consistent with best practice and policies.
Actively participates and collaborates in all aspects of the rehabilitation process as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
Participates in departmental programs and activities and serves as a role model of quality clinical practice.
Supervises work of support personnel as needed.
Will be responsible for participating in weekend rotations.

Qualifications

Physical Therapist Qualifications Valid licensure from the North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy. Current CPR Certification. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to varying patient needs, and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid license from the North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy and current CPR certification. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
