About the role

Perform occupational therapy procedures and related tasks under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Assist patients in achieving maximum functional performance and document treatment responses and outcomes.

Join our team to work in a beautiful new hospital with 60 private patient rooms and 2 rehab therapy gyms with cutting-edge technology.

Performs component of occupational therapy procedures and related tasks under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and in accordance with practices of occupational therapy.

Patient population ranges in age from 18 years to geriatric experiencing rehabilitation diagnosis/conditions and/or conditions requiring rehabilitation.

Assist patients in achieving his/her maximum functional performance while learning to live within his/her capabilities.

Record patient’s responses to treatment and report treatment outcomes to the Occupational Therapist.

Pay

Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

Desired Qualification

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience.
