Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and dependable Medical Assistant with experience or interest in dermatology. The ideal candidate will be organized, compassionate, and able to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the dermatologist with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and supplies
Take patient histories, vital signs, and document in EMR
Educate patients on post-care instructions and skincare regimens
Handle specimens for pathology/lab testing
Perform scribing and charting duties as needed
Support front desk as needed with scheduling, phones, and check-ins

Qualifications

Medical Assistant certification or relevant clinical experience
Dermatology experience preferred but not required (training available)
Familiarity with EMR systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
