As a Designated Nursing Assistant / Certified Nursing Assistant (DNA/CNA), you provide direct, hands-on care that supports residents’ clinical, personal, nutritional, and restorative needs in our skilled nursing community.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver care based on Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
- Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, mobility, dining, and toileting
- Obtain and report vital signs, intake, and changes in condition
- Partner with licensed nurses on restorative and care planning programs
- Support fall prevention, skin care, and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and restorative records
- Respond promptly to resident, family, and visitor concerns
- Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety guidelines at all times
You play a critical role in promoting dignity, safety, and quality of life for every resident you serve.
What We’re Looking For
- Active CNA certification per state regulations
- High School Diploma/GED
- Skilled nursing or senior care experience preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to remain calm in challenging situations
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and peak service times
