About the role

The Radiologic Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic X-rays for emergency and outpatient departments while ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation. The role also involves cross-training to become a CT Tech and utilizing EPIC and PACS systems.

Responsibilities

  • Radiologic Tech (ARRT) Job Summary Will be responsible for performing diagnostic x-rays.
  • Opportunity to learn bone density and operating room.
  • Manage a broad range of simultaneous duties efficiently.
  • Utilize the comprehensive Electronic Medical Record System (EPIC) and PACS (Change Healthcare).
  • Perform diagnostic X-rays with precision and care.
  • Perform diagnostic x-ray exams through the Emergency Room (ER) and Outpatients as needed.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to provide high-quality imaging services.
  • Cross training to a CT Tech will be part of this role

Qualifications

  • Radiologic Tech (ARRT) Qualifications Associate degree in radiologic technology required.
  • ARRT Certification in Radiology is required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an Associate degree in radiologic technology and possess ARRT certification in Radiology. A BLS certification is also required, and the position is open to new graduates.
