Utilizes all components of the nursing process in coordinating a patient-focused team providing direct and collaborative health care in the Operating Room designed to promote and restore optimal health of the patient. Utilizes all components of the nursing process in providing care that reflects an understanding of individual cultural and religious diversities and needs, and recognition of patient rights. Utilizes knowledge and expertise in case management to provide comprehensive, coordinated, seamless care to individuals and aggregate groups. Coordinates, integrates and facilitates the patient/provider relationship.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Current New York State RN License required. CNOR certification required or must be working toward certification. Minimum of one year practice in a medical/surgical setting required and one year experience in an Operating Room setting. BLS certification required.
Usd $55.13 - Usd $64.36 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited School of Nursing with a current New York State RN license and BLS certification. At least one year of experience in both a medical/surgical setting and an Operating Room setting is required.
