The Clinical Research Coordinator manages the day-to-day operations of the Qorus program and IBD Biobank, including participant recruitment, screening, and informed consent. They ensure all research activities comply with institutional policies, FDA regulations, and GCP guidelines while maintaining accurate data and specimen records.
Intermediate Level: Bachelor’s degree in any field. Substitution(s): A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis. An advanced degree (Master's or PhD) may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis if the degree is in a field of study directly related to the work assignment. One (1) year clinical research or related experience. Senior Level: Bachelor’s degree in any field. Substitution(s): A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis. An advanced degree (Master's or PhD) may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis if the degree is in a field of study directly related to the work assignment. Two (2) years of clinical research or related experience. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office programs. Three (3) years of clinical research or related experience. Senior Level: Bachelor’s degree in science or health-related field. Experience with electronic data capture systems (e.g., EMR or EHR and data management systems). Experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office programs. Four (4) or more years of clinical research or related experience Condition(s) of Employment (All Levels): Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (All Levels): Knowledge and understanding of federal regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP). Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution. Outstanding customer service skills. Knowledge of basic human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Ability to interpret and master complex research protocol information.
