The Cardiovascular Technologist is responsible for setting up patients for cardiac catheterization and monitoring them throughout the procedure. They also assist physicians during exams and manage patient data entry into computer systems.

Job Details

Responsibilities

Setting up the patient for cardiac catheterization and monitoring the patient during the procedure Assisting the physician during the exam, and monitor positions Entering patient information into the GEMNET and MACLAB computer systems.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required Graduate of an accredited Radiological, Cardiovascular and/or Respiratory care program RCVT or equivalent preferred, registry eligible acceptable. BLS/AED/ACLS training required and accepted from only 2 organizations: American Heart Association - BLS/ACLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program. American Red Cross - CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer No online programs from any organization will be accepted

Salary Range

Usd $49.41 - Usd $64.39 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
