TSSH offers a variety of services, such as anesthesia, ear, nose & throat, general surgery, GYN, GYN/oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, plastic surgery, podiatry, radiology and spine care.
Performs diagnostic tests, patient care, and selects appropriate technical factors to insure proper diagnosis of patients.
Operate complex imaging equipment within the department including diagnostic radiology equipment.
Able to gain IV access for the administration of contrast.
Ensures imaging equipment is in proper working condition and reports malfunctions to the Radiology Manager.
Must maintain appropriate exposure levels according to ALARA standards.
Perform technical and clerical duties as delegated by Radiology Manager.
Job Requirements: Associates degree from an accredited Radiology Program.
ARRT Registered Must maintain registry status as set forth by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.).
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
One year of X-Ray experience CT Registry required within 12 months of completing orientation.
