This is a float position so hours would vary from: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri hours can vary from 6-3, 8-5 or 9-6, Wed.10-7
Welcome patients and escort to exam room Prepare patients for radiology procedures and follow established clinical and regulatory procedures in regard to patient safety and care; including proper radiation protection and shielding techniques Obtain and record vital signs (BP, heart rate, pulse oximetry, height, weight, waist circumference) Provide information and assistance to patients Perform blood draws, administer injections/vaccinations, and input medical information into EMR Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations; keep rooms neat, clean and well stocked Maintain patient confidence and ensure confidentiality of patient care information Assist the physician and medical staff with procedures and treatments Complete and document daily equipment checks and calibration
LPN or RNs: Clear and Active license in the state of Florida One year of recent clinical experience, preferably in primary or urgent care setting BLS
Preferred but not required: Certified Medical Assistant or Equivalent Experience Certified Phlebotomy Technician
Proficient knowledge of computer systems including electronic medical record (EMR) Proficiency with blood draws and injections Ability to effectively communicate with staff and patients using excellent written and verbal skills Friendly personality and ability to work well as a team member
