Provides primary care to patients acting as an assistant to physicians in the clinic following established standards and practices.
Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and the skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, physicians and the public.
Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practice, and medical care to give and evaluate patient care.
Knowledge of organizational policies, regulations and procedures to administer patient care.
Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
Skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods, and techniques of professional nursing to provide on-going patient care.
Skill in taking medical history to assess medical condition and interpret findings.
Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence.
Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public.
Ability to maintain quality control standards.
Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures.

Work Shift Details: Days - Variable weekday and weekend, Must be available to work nights, weekends and holiday coverage.

The expected pay for this position is listed below: $45.53 - $59.19 The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
