The Medication Technician is responsible for the safe administration, documentation, and management of client medications under the supervision of nursing staff. The Medication Technician (Med Tech) plays an important role in supporting the health, safety, and treatment of adult clients receiving care for substance use and behavioral health concerns.
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing and licensed nursing staff, the Med Tech is responsible for supporting the safe administration, management, documentation, and education of client medications. This role also assists with monitoring client health, collecting specimens, maintaining medication supplies, and ensuring compliance with facility, state, and regulatory standards.

Candidates must have successfully completed a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) program and possess strong clinical judgment and attention to detail. At least two years of previous Medication Aide experience in a hospital or behavioral health setting is preferred.
