Veterinary Technician - Ophthalmology
The Veterinary Technician will assist board-certified ophthalmologists with eye examinations, diagnostic testing, and surgical procedures. They are also responsible for patient monitoring, medication administration, and educating pet owners on treatment plans.

Assist our board-certified Ophthalmologist in performing eye examinations, diagnosing ocular conditions, and planning treatments. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Perform diagnostic tests including tonometry, fluorescein staining, digital imaging, and ultrasound as needed. Monitor anesthetized patients during surgical procedures and assist in post-operative care. Educate pet owners about eye health, treatment plans, and medication administration. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care. Ensure a clean and safe work environment. Participate in continuing education and stay updated on advancements in veterinary ophthalmology. High School diploma or equivalent; Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) is preferred. Experience in veterinary ophthalmology is a plus.
