General Summary: The Foster Care Program Coordinator I supports community foster home providers in implementing basic behavior interventions and supervises foster parents ensuring safety and compliance of foster care environment.
This role is critical in supporting the well-being of children in foster care and ensuring that foster families are equipped to provide a nurturing and safe home.
Education – High School Diploma or Equivalent. Experience – Minimum of 2-years related experience in childcare, foster care or care coordination. License Requirement – N/A REGULATORY: Minimum 21 years of age. Able to pass a minimum 5 panel drug test & submit to regular screening. DPS Level I fingerprint clearance (must possess upon hire and maintain throughout employment). Maintain a clear Central Registry Background Check. CPR, First Aid certification (must possess upon hire and maintain throughout employment). Current, valid Arizona Driver’s License and 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of vehicle registration liability insurance to meet insurance requirements, if required. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience in childcare, foster care, or care coordination. Additionally, they must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and maintain a DPS Level I fingerprint clearance.
