About the Role

Virtua Reconstructive Orthopedics is looking for an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their patient focused orthopedic practice. This position is inpatient only and will primarily support the Orthopedic Trauma Team in Mt. Holly with ancillary support provided to the other service lines within the practice when necessary. Position Responsibilities:

Requirements

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program and hold current state licensure and certifications. A minimum of two years of orthopedic experience, specifically including surgical first assist, is required.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner program. PA: NCCPA Certification and Physician Assistant license issued by the State of New Jersey NP: CRNP or APN certification through an accredited body, RNFA certification and advanced practice license with prescriptive authority through the NJ State Board of nursing.
  • Minimum two years of orthopedic experience including surgical first assist (with a preference for experience in assisting in complex sports surgery cases such as ACL Reconstruction, Shoulder Arthroscopy, and Shoulder Arthroplasty)
  • BLS Certification
  • Valid Driver’s License Compensation: In compliance with New Jersey pay transparency laws, all medical director roles include a posted minimum base salary. The minimum base salary for this position is $131,250.00 per year. Final compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and prevailing market factors.
