About the role

Perform basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures under minimal supervision for patients of all ages. Apply x-ray energy to assist licensed physicians in the diagnosis or treatment of patients.

Position Summary

Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly.

Responsibilities

Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs, rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology to include OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements and trauma; Assists practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Education: Graduate of accredited Imaging Program Licensure/Certifications: ARRT or registry eligible must have ARRT within one year post graduation BLS, state license if required Preferred Requirements Education: Associates degree Experience: 1-3 years #LI-SB4

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Imaging Program and hold or be eligible for ARRT certification. A state license and BLS certification are required, with an associate degree preferred.
