Serves as a clinical leader by assessing, planning, delegating, and exercising independent judgment in directing other healthcare staff in the provision of safe, effective care. Evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, supporting patient goals, and ensuring safety guidelines and work practices. Promotes safe and efficient patient throughput in a high-volume acute care setting to optimize workflow and daily operations in a procedure-driven facility. Key duties include directing patient care, participation in hourly rounding, and supervision of healthcare team members.
