Responsibilities

This position offers a mix of clinic-based patient care and hospital responsibilities, working closely with Dr. Parker and the medical team. Key responsibilities include: Provide primary and specialty health care under the direction of the physician Conduct patient histories, physical assessments, clinical evaluations, and interpret findings See new patients in clinic and manage follow-up appointments Perform hospital rounds and evaluate new patient consults Complete histories and physicals (H&Ps), discharge summaries, and clinical documentation Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and reports Respond to the physician's pager calls while the physician is in procedures, as directed Build strong relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other members of the medical staff Collaborate with the physician and care team to provide high-quality patient care

Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner- National certification from a national certifying body acceptable by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing in the following specialties: Adult Gerontology Acute Care (AG-AC NP) or Acute Care. Physician's Assistant - Baccalaureate degree or a minimum of two years of college credit or graduate from ARC-PA (Accreditation Review Commission on education for the Physician Assistant) approved program. Current license as a Physician Assistant with the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure. Licensure/Certification: Current BLS certification required.

Experience

Cardiology experience preferred. Requirements

Candidates must hold a national certification as a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Clinical Nurse Specialist with appropriate state licensure. Current BLS certification is required, and cardiology experience is preferred.
