About the Opportunity The Speech Therapist/Pathologist (SLP) delivers in‑home speech assessments, evaluations, treatment, and care as prescribed by the attending physician. Key Responsibilities Conduct speech/language evaluations and assess the home environment Identify equipment needs related to speech/language function Assist physicians in evaluating functional levels Provide treatment according to physician or dentist orders Develop and update the Plan of Care (POC) Diagnose functional speech deficits and establish treatment goals Administer therapy using appropriate techniques and equipment Document and report patient progress and condition in EMR Participate in in‑service education programs and clinical meetings Educate other healthcare personnel as needed Follow infection‑control policies Maintain HIPAA‑compliant documentation and patient privacy
Required Education & Experience Current state licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech‑Language Pathology Minimum of one (1) year of recent (within the last three (3) years) experience in a Home Health or Hospice Setting. Additional Qualifications Current CPR/BLS certification Valid driver’s license and insured personal vehicle (per Lorian requirements) Why Join us? Pay per visit ranges from $100-$150 visit commensurate with experience and depending on type of visit. $2500 Sign-On bonus! To be paid out in 4 equal payments over the course of 12 months.
Candidates must hold a Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology and possess a current state license. A minimum of one year of recent experience in a home health or hospice setting is required.
