Job Summary and Responsibilities Sign-on Bonuses up to $25,000 AND Education Assistance (student loan payoff) up to $24,000 for eligible hires and positions As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will be at the forefront of cardiac care, utilizing cutting-edge imaging technology to directly impact life-saving diagnostic and interventional procedures.Every day, you will expertly perform specialized interventional diagnostic and therapeutic examinations of the heart and blood vessels under physician guidance, meticulously preparing patients, operating advanced radiologic equipment, and contributing critical data for interpretation.
You'll ensure the safe, efficient operation of all equipment while maintaining mastery of our latest standards and protocols.To be successful in this role, you will combine advanced technical proficiency in cardiovascular imaging with a meticulous eye for detail, a commitment to patient safety, and a drive for continuous learning within a dynamic and collaborative Cath Lab team.
Provide technical support as needed.
With the guidance of the Coordinator, Manager, Director or Provider, assist physicians , Nurses, and Rad Techs.
Operate and maintain the systems under the direction of a physician or licensed person.
Respond rapidly to the need for the initiation, maintenance or troubleshooting of all cardiac systems in the OR, ICU, CCU, Cath Lab, EP, IR, and ER.
Assist with the transport of patients receiving support and procedures away from the patient’s room.
Maintain cleanliness and storage of all equipment.
Requires an Associate’s Degree and specific certifications including ARRT and either CCI, RCIS, or RDCS. Must hold or obtain Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications.
Completes departmental documentation for record keeping and patient charges.
Communicates with the Manager or Coordinator all critical department activities to allow for the proper coordination of activities and personnel resources.
