The Housekeeper maintains a sanitary, safe and clean environment and enhances the appearance of the facility. Additionally, the Housekeeper will assist with preparation for special events. Primary
Clean client rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces. Replenish supplies and/or linen in client rooms as necessary or designated. Maintain housekeeping cart and equipment in clean, working condition and store in appropriate storage area when finished with shift. Ensure proper sanitation of all equipment, as required. Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment techniques, as required. Available for alternate, evening and weekend schedules and shifts may be required to meet client needs, state and regulatory agency requirements and business necessity. Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with current and former clients, client family members and referral sources. Comply with company’s code of conduct. Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of 1 year experience in housekeeping in a similar facility, preferred. Ability to work weekends and varied hours. Ability to lift 40 pounds and climb stairs frequently. Valid driver license, excellent driving record, reliable transportation and valid auto insurance.
