We are looking for employees, with at least 2 years of bench tech experience, to float to labs in various locations within and around the Sioux Falls metro area. They may also float to labs outside of the Sioux Falls metro area. Depending on the site’s needs, the hours of coverage may vary. This position offers variety and flexibility while building your career at Sanford. This employee would work in a variety of lab settings and will be exposed to multiple patient-centered practices including Family Medicine, Women’s, Pediatrics, Oncology and Acute Care. We are seeking employees that enjoy lifelong learning, collaboration, independence and making connections with patients, families, and colleagues with Sanford Health. Summary Responsible for pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of testing. Follows standard operating procedures and ensures laboratory safety, quality and regulatory requirements are met.
Candidates must hold at least a bachelor's degree in laboratory or biological sciences for MLS or an associate degree for MLT, along with at least 2 years of bench tech experience. National certification such as ASCP or registry eligibility is required, and a valid driver's license may be necessary for travel between sites.
