Companion Animal Hospital is a long-standing general practice hospital with deep ties to the community, located in Chichester, New Hampshire. We are under new management, but our goals are the same. Those goals are to provide compassionate and quality medicine while striving to make an impact in our community and treat our patients/clients like family.
We aim to provide owners with sound, honest choices for their pets and to provide our patients with excellent and compassionate medical care. We strive to give our customers the best personalized service possible and to create a friendly, professional work environment for our awesome staff!
Who We're Looking For
We are currently looking to hire an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used, drawing blood and running bloodwork, knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and motivating team member.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in the veterinary field
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment is a plus. Experience working with these tools is even better
- Passion for working with animals and their owners
- Ability to learn proper animal handling, fear-free training, and restraint
- Ability to learn common treatments and processes normally found in a veterinary hospital setting
- Excellent communication and ability to gain strong organizational skills

$22.00-$25.00 based on experience and licensure
