Our pharmacy department has over 500 staff members who are dedicated on providing both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care tailored to their needs.

Days/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8hrs day shift The Infusion Center Clinical Pharmacist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, California, brings specialized knowledge and experience in ambulatory clinical pharmacy practice, ambulatory infusion therapy, prior authorization processes, 340B practices, and sterile compounding.

The clinical pharmacist works closely with ambulatory clinics to support infusion therapy, assess patients, and conduct comprehensive medication management visits as appropriate.

The clinical pharmacist collaborates with physicians, nurses, and utilization management teams to optimize medication therapy, improve patient outcomes, and coordinate care for patients receiving specialty infusion treatments.

Key responsibilities include comprehensive medication management, therapy and laboratory monitoring, patient education, documentation of clinical interventions, and support of site-of-care strategies for infusion patients.

The pharmacist may also conduct independent patient visits in accordance with established clinical workflows and applicable regulatory requirements. #LI-RD1

Qualifications

Educational Requirements: Pharm.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited school of pharmacy. Completion of a PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency or equivalent practice experience. License/Certification/Registration Requirements: Current pharmacist licensure in the State of California. BLS certification as outlined in the Pharmacist Responsibilities in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (C.P.R.) and Code Blue Procedure: Pharmacy Policy and Procedure What else are we looking for? Completion of a PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency or equivalent practice experience. Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology as related to drug usage. Comprehensive knowledge of common disease states and pathologies with a focus on chronic diseases requiring parenteral therapy. Ability to comprehend patient medical management plans. Experience in ambulatory care, clinics, or comprehensive medication management preferred. Ability to assess and apply current pharmacological and biopharmaceutical principles for the selection and use of drug products in a clinical setting. Ability to extract pertinent information from the patient or other sources and relate it to the patient care plan. Possess the verbal and written communication skills required to fulfill the pharmacist’s responsibilities. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to teach and serve as preceptor for training programs. Why work here? Requirements
