OCSRI’s main campus is located in Tulsa, OK, with 1 satellite clinic in a town surrounding Tulsa.
All OCSRI facilities use CMS Monaco for treatment planning, Mosaiq’s R&V system and Elekta linacs to deliver treatment; each site can sim patients and is attached to a full medical oncology suite. The main campus offers additional treatment options including nuclear medicine, a full imaging suite, an HDR suite and Precision treatment planning for Tomotherapy. 5 linear accelerators are housed at the main campus, including 2 Tomotherapy units, 3 Elekta units (1 Infinity, 2 Versa HD (SRS/SBRT capable)) and a dedicated HDR suite utilizing Flexitron and Oncentra planning.
The successful applicant will join a team consisting of 4 radiation oncologists, 7 dosimetrists, 3 physicists, 1 medical physics assistant and 22 therapists. The department adopts new technology readily and listens to great ideas no matter what their origin. Experience with technology in our clinics, while helpful, is not explicitly required. The team at OCSRI can train any qualified physicist to utilize all software and equipment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess at least a master’s degree in physics or medical physics from an accredited university and graduated from CAMPEP medical physics residency program. A minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience (including residency training time), ABR board eligible is required.
