Scheurer-Harbor Beach-Lakeview Extended Care: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Part Time 62 hours/pay

Days 6: 00am to 2:00pm

Scheurer – Harbor Beach is seeking part time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our Lakeview Extended Care Team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in preparation of the unit, resident rooms, and beds for receiving resident admissions, returning surgical patients, transfer, emergencies or discharges. You’ll receive daily report on assigned residents.
• Assisting in and accompanying residents in admission, transfer and discharge procedures.
• Assisting in providing post-mortem care.
• Performing routine treatment procedures, including enemas, the application of heat and cold, and sitz baths, etc.
• Providing activities of daily living.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED Equivalent.
• State of Michigan Certification for Nursing Assistants.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card.
