Overview Copley Hospital, located in Morrisville/Stowe VT, is in search of an LNA to join our team in the Operating Room.
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, the LNA performs appropriate basic nursing care to patients based on the ages of the patients served on the unit, observes patients for physical/emotional changes, records pertinent information in CPSI, communicates with other patient care providers to ensure continuity of care, and other tasks, as needed.
Compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.
This is a Full-Time position (Per Diem available).
Copley Hospital has a variety of shifts available across Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem needs.

$20.81-26.39/hour. The posted salary range reflects base compensation for candidates with a variety of experience. An offer within this range may be presented based on experience.
Appears neat and clean and follows dress code Accepts constructive criticism with a positive, agreeable attitude Assist in orientation of personnel as instructed by NM or CC Assist circulating RNs in the preparation of OR room, positioning and prep of patients Assists in identification of availability of supplies for oncoming shiftAssists in maintaining equipment. Assumes responsibility to completes work orders as needed Assists RN with OR room turnover and supply gathering Demonstrates knowledge of patient’s plan and interventions under direction of nurse Keeps nurse informed of patient condition changes or immediate problems Monitors, collects and documents data in EMR. Responds to emergency situations in accordance with established P&P Utilizes positive communication and interpersonal skills in performance of duties Assist in patient transport under RN/ surgical team supervision Assist in opening of sterile supplies Assist with room set up for next day cases Pick surgical cases utilizing preference cards to maintain surgical schedule flow and minimize delays.
High School diploma. Six months to one year clinical experience in hospital or nursing home setting. Current Vermont LNA License, CPR training. CPR skill validation
