UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health is offering a PAID CNA Trainee Program!!
We offer an hourly rate of 20.00 while you are being trained in the class. Once you are certified, pay increases! Pay ranges from 21.12/hr-25.24/hr based on prior experience.
$2,000 SIGN ON BONUS! Paid out in increments over your first year as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with us! We also offer mileage incentives!
The program is for 4 weeks, hosted Monday-Friday from 7a-3p.
Mandatory, perfect attendance is enforced.

Candidates that are interested in getting additional experience are welcome to join us as Unit Helper before the program starts.
Unit Helpers are paid an hourly rate of 20.00, same rate you make as a student in the class!
The program is hosted in Geneva, NY however, once you become certified, you can be hired to work at all one of our long-term care facilities - we have a location in Geneva, Waterloo and Penn Yan NY. All locations are offering part-time and full-time employment!

Minimum: Must be able to read and write English
Current New York State Nurse Aide Certification.
Preferred: High school degree or GED/ Prior Nursing Assistant and/or LTC experience
Under the direction of the licensed nursing personnel, performs direct and indirect designated resident care within the scope of practice as defined by the certification.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
The ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
