Envision Imaging is seeking a Full-Time Mammography Technologist Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Position pay range: $35.48 - $45.74 This role will support our newest center in Sherman, opening in November 2026
Performs routine and diagnostic exams relating to breast anatomy and bone density to obtain images at a satisfactory level with minimal supervision.
1. Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image. Also provides patient education on breast self-examination as needed.
2. Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc.
3. Obtains prior imaging as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation.
4. Performs Bone Density and Mammography exams while attending to patient’s care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient’s condition changes at any time.
5. Transfers images to other locations as needed.
6. Coordinates procedure protocols with Radiologist.
7. Maintains and regularly inspects equipment and immediately reports any quality concerns as well as equipment failures or deficiencies.
8. Interfaces with Lead Technologist & Center/Area Manager regarding any and all departmental concerns.

This position has no supervision responsibilities.
This job operates in an environmentally controlled outpatient clinical environment. Potential exposure to radiation, which is minimized by the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Possible exposure to bodily fluids, communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation and other conditions common to a medical office environment. Often requires work in cool, dimly lighted rooms.

Requires graduation from an accredited Registered Technologist program and current ARRT certification in Mammography and Bone Densitometry. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in both modalities and hold current CPR/BLS certification.
