CNA/Med Tech

About the role

Assist residents with activities of daily living and monitor their overall well-being. Report any changes or concerns regarding resident health to the Resident Care Coordinator and nursing staff.

We are currently hiring CNA's and Med Techs for both part-time and full-time positions at Birch Creek Assisted Living.

Birch Creek is a place where people show up for each other.

The atmosphere here is built by team members who care, work hard, and take pride in what they do.

If you're dependable, kind, and want your work to matter, you'll fit in well here.

We offer flexible schedules, shift differentials for NOC and weekend shifts, and the opportunity to become a CNA through our partnership with Utah CNA Training Centers.

There are opportunities to grow within the company for those who are reliable and committed.

Our community is fully supported with housekeeping, dietary, and activities staff so caregivers can focus on residents.

Our leadership team is present and supportive, and we work hard to maintain a positive, respectful environment.

Our residents are the best part of the job.

The relationships you build here matter.

As a caregiver, your primary responsibilities will include assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), monitoring their well-being, and reporting any changes or concerns to the Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) and nurse.

Additional duties may be assigned by the Administrator or RCC.

To be successful in this role, you should be dependable, able to work independently, and work well as part of a team.

CNA certification is preferred but not required-we are willing to help the right person get certified.

You should be able to manage multiple responsibilities, stay calm under pressure, and communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and coworkers.

A genuine interest in working with seniors is essential.

Requirements upon hire include a food handler's permit, CPR/First Aid certification, and a TB test.

Full-time employees are eligible for benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k), life insurance, paid time off, paid sick time, and paid training.

We offer a variety of shift options, including day, evening, and overnight shifts, with a rotating weekend schedule.

If you are under 18, please let us know if you are currently enrolled in a CNA course.

Experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a food handler's permit, CPR/First Aid certification, and a TB test upon hire. While CNA certification is preferred, the company is willing to assist the right candidate in obtaining it.

Market context

Support services roles in Utah remain steady

In Utah, support-services roles in healthcare are often tied to patient flow, clinic operations, and front-line assistance, so demand tends to follow outpatient and ambulatory care activity. These jobs can be competitive because employers look for candidates who already have relevant clinical exposure, such as EMT training, medical assisting education, or ambulatory care experience, and who can quickly complete required credentials like the RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time, then confirm your training background and plan to secure the eCredential within 30 days if you apply.
