Certified Medication Aide- 3rd shift
The Certified Medication Aide is responsible for administering prescribed medications and monitoring the health conditions of residents in a senior living community. They also assist with daily living activities and maintain a safe, clean environment while partnering with healthcare staff.
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our senior living community. In this role, you’ll provide prescribed medications, support resident care, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment.
What you’ll do
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
Document medications, monitor resident condition, and report changes to healthcare staff.
Assist with vital signs, lab collections, and follow-up communications with families and providers.
Support residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
Partner with the Healthcare Coordinator (HCC) in staff training, documentation, and incident reporting.
Respond promptly to resident and visitor needs with professionalism and compassion.
What we’re looking for
Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in good standing required.
At least 6 months of caregiving experience, preferably with seniors.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and supporting resident mobility.
Commitment to confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and resident well-being.
