Description Physical Therapy Assistant - Program Manager

We are looking for a committed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide quality care to all residents. Under the direction of a licensed physical therapist, the PTA evaluates and treats patients/residents, communicates with their families, physicians, and other health team members, and maintains all necessary documentation of services in the patient's medical records.

Responsibilities

Measure and record residents' motor function, strength, and muscle performance. Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans. Observe residents and write progress reports. Evaluate residents' ability to function independently. Assist residents with exercises and equipment, including stretches and massages. Educate residents on proper exercise techniques to strengthen muscles and improve mobility. Contribute positively to the team effort and overall care environment.

Requirements

Skills: Proven work experience as a physical therapist assistant Intensive education and clinical expertise Current knowledge of treatment practices Drive to continually learn and grow Professional behavior Excellent interpersonal communication skills Valid physical therapist assistant license
