The Research Assistant supports active research programs across OBGYN,. This role offers meaningful hands-on experience in clinical and health equity research aimed at improving outcomes for communities and informing care and policy. What You Will Do Collaborate with principal investigators and research teams to support study execution across multiple departments. Recruit, screen, and engage research participants with clear communication and strict adherence to ethical and regulatory standards. Administer surveys and collect patient-reported data in compliance with IRB-approved protocols, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Guide participants through the informed consent process, ensuring their rights and understanding are protected. Perform data entry, quality control, and preliminary analysis; prepare summaries and reports for presentations and publications. Maintain organized electronic and paper study records, safeguarding sensitive participant information. Contribute to research proposals, grant applications, and IRB submissions. Contribute to studies examining racial and socioeconomic disparities in maternal, pediatric, and primary care health outcomes. Participate actively in team meetings, contributing ideas and remaining open to feedback. What You Will Need Education: High School Diploma required ;Bachelor's degree preferred Experience: Prior research or patient-facing experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting Skills: Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and problem-solving ability; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
