What You’ll Do Support veterinarians during examinations, treatments, procedures, and surgeries. Provide attentive, compassionate nursing care to hospitalized and outpatient patients. Safely handle and restrain patients during examinations and procedures. Assist with medication administration, treatments, and patient monitoring. Support anesthesia, surgical preparation, monitoring, and recovery. Collect and process laboratory samples and assist with diagnostic testing. Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation. Communicate with clients and provide education regarding medications, treatments, and follow-up care. Keep treatment and patient-care areas clean, organized, stocked, and ready for the day. Collaborate with doctors and teammates to deliver high-quality, efficient patient care.
