Performs a variety of hemodynamic exams to detect lower and upper extremity obstructions as directed by a physician or in response to previous test results. Maintains compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED Graduate of an accredited ultrasound, vascular technology or cardiovascular program with 1 year of vascular technology experience OR 5 years of experience as a Registered Vascular Tech (RVT). Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from ARDMS or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from CCI. Experience with all types of vascular ultrasound studies including carotid, aortic, renal and mesenteric vessels, lower extremity arterial and venous, Venous insufficiency, upper extremity arterial and venous. Experience with performing lower extremity arterial studies such as Ankle- Brachial and Pulse Volume Recordings. Experience with Saphenous Vein ablation Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support Work Hours (EX:7AM-7PM): 8-5 Weekend Requirements: No On-Call Requirements: No
Requires graduation from an accredited ultrasound or vascular technology program with at least one year of experience, or five years of experience as an RVT. Must hold a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support.
